COMPANY HISTORY Open or Close
1995 Registered as NORPLAN Uganda Limited, a JV between NORPLAN of Norway and Lawrence Levy Omulen.
2008 Changed name to NEWPLAN Limited.
2009 Become a Ugandan company following the management’s acquisition of the majority shares.
2014 Multiconsult ASA Norway, acquired the NORPLAN AS 40% stake in the company.
2016 NEWPLAN Rwanda established as a subsidiary to serve the Rwanda market.
2017 Became 100% owned by Ugandans (NEWPLAN Group Limited - 90%, Employees – 10%). -

Code of Conduct Open or Close
NEWPLAN provides its employees wherever they may work with universal standards of behavior as expected in conducting company business. The Code of Conduct sets the basic rules, standards and behavior necessary to achieve the business objectives.
It provides requirements and guidance within a single company wide document for all our employees. The Code of Conduct is a common reference point for anyone who is unclear about what is expected of them in a specific situation and a valuable document that helps us put our business principles in practice.
It is important to understand that the content in the Code of Conduct is a summary of existing legal and policy requirements with guidance on how to meet those requirements. Reading the Code of Conduct should give enough information to handle most of the situations and questions that any of our employees will face in their day-to-day work with the company.

NEWPLAN recognizes that health and safety begins with the suitability of the environment and conditions in which the employees work, which then enables them to transfer this responsibility into the projects, and hence communities in which we operate.

A Quality Manual was developed in order to provide a summary of the Quality Management System in the form of Policy guidelines and to have a manual for the development and maintenance of appropriate systems/procedures for total quality management in NEWPLAN Limited.
